I grew up in Clairemont and have been a resident of our community for over 35 years. My husband and I own a small business, Skip Frye Surfboards, which is located in Bay Park. I am the founder of Surfers Tired of Pollution and work for the Center for Marine Conservation.

I ask for your vote so we can work together to:: Protect and preserve our canyons, beaches and bays; Open government & Ensuring citizen's right to know; Expedite repair/replacement of aging infrastructure; Expand community policing Increase after-school programs and expand library services; Control growth and development; Clean up Mission Bay; Relieve traffic congestion; Stop sewage spills & prevent polluted runoff
