SAN DIEGO - IMPERIAL COUNTIES LABOR COUNCIL ENDORSES DONNA FRYE IN 6th DISTRICT SAN DIEGO CITY COUNCIL RACE The San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council formally announced their endorsement of Donna Frye for San Diego City Council in the 6th District Special Election on April 17th. The Labor Council is the central body affiliate of the AFL-CIO (founded in 1902), and includes approximately 110 affiliated labor groups within San Diego and Imperial Counties. With members from virtually every sector of the workplace, the highly coveted Labor endorsement brings with it the support of the men and women who comprise 100,000 working families throughout the counties. At our San Diego Kayak Club meeting last Monday, March 19, the club unanimously voted to endorse your campaign. As you know, the club is very concerned about the pollution in Mission Bay and San Diego Bay where our members play, work and socialize. In our kayaks we come in contact with the water whenever we paddle, whether touring, surfing or playing polo.
