Pam and The Environment ...

When the Transit District wanted to double-track over our lagoons, Pam Slater demanded that cumulative environmental impacts be immediately addressed. And when SANDAG proposed an ill-conceived plan to bulldoze a major road through the San Dieguito River Valley, she was the one who came to our rescue. Her open space conservation plan is protecting 172,000 acres from development countywide.
